Compost Problems
Are you getting the most out of your compost? Two problems common to all composting ventures are sufficient moisture content and temperature. Make sure your bin has adequate warmth for high levels of bacterial activity by using black recycled plastic bins that hold high temperatures by absorbing radiant heat from the sun. During the winter, you may want to cover your bin with an insulation jacket and in the summer you will want to keep you bin shaded to avoid drying out.
